This seems like a heck of a buy. 2009 turbo cab with a clean car fax for $54k. They also have some 997.1s in the mid $20ks. Prices across the board appear to be coming down.

That's what I paid for mine in November with a few less miles, I think even though a lot of poster say these cars need to be driven alway want a low mileage car so a higher mileage car does take a hit.

2009? Was the 09 still the 997.1?

Possibly a good deal for someone looking for a tip/cab. I personally would be open to the higher mileage, might consider a cab even though I'm a coupe guy, but no way on the tiptronic.

On the Turbo's, 2009 was mostly a .1, but with the .2 PCM. Still had the Mezger engine and Tip if you went automatic. No PDK, no LED tail lights. 2010 Turbo's went to the full .2 interior and exterior upgrades, no more Mezger engine (DFI), and the PDK transmission.
High mileage, Tiptronic, and Cab... Wrong side on all three.

All depends on condition, actual mileage, and options. Basically for a 997.2 manual coupe, nothing under $40k right now and most is $50k+. I've notice the low mileage manual coupes sell the quickest. (Faster than high mileage, or PDK, or Cab).

There is a 997 enthusiasts group on Facebook. There’s a guy selling his 997.2 S for $37k. Not sure what the full story is but the car looks decent.

Looks like a scam site, also a 2012 turbo S with 23k miles for $55? Sure.

It's easy enough to id these as scam sites... Google the address, look at the pictures of the address, see the dealers actual web site with different phone numbers and no such cars...
Perhaps members could do even the slightest amount of due diligence on almost-certain scams before helping the scammers out by reposting them here?

Follow Up to GTS Purchase
I ended up buying a '12 GTS, 8,900 miles, PDK, flow-through seats, Lug wheels, Carrera Sports, Carbon console, Sports exhaust, PASM, Chrono, about a $122,000 build. It was reported here and commented upon.
A couple things that popped up to help. First, CarFax. Mine had a bruise about a year ago, 'minor' said CarFax. I asked the salesperson about it and he happened to have been there the day it came in with damage, concurred it was very minor. The owner drove it a bit more while awaiting a body shop repair, so couldn't be too bad. The Porsche dealer sent me the invoices for the repair work, a whole $3200 which on a Porsche is like a nice detail job. One fender, some trim, lots of feddling.
The point is that many people instantly 'pass' on any CarFax report, but a little digging revealed an exceptionally minor blip that - given the car's other attributes - it wasn't worth walking away.
I spent the day today with the car and cannot find one shred of damage, overspray, paint line, even the shine quality and orange peel content is the same. A very fine job.
Next, make sure you get the build sheet. Once I got it I noted it included a Carbon console. This was interesting because the ad didn't mention it, and you couldn't see it in photos. So that was like a bonus.
Another thing was the CPO. Great peace of mind, plus its transferrable should that need arise. It was a good comfort buying this car, because after owning it for one day, my wife and I drove it home from Dallas to Lake Martin Alabama, which is 11 hours straight. Also attended Cars and Coffee in Dallas for a nice send off. All in all, I drove that car nearly 1,000 miles of totally comfortable, fun, fast cruising. It was great. Another bonus - though we averaged 75-80 on the road, the car squeezed 23,8mpg.
So, another GTS is off the market. Thanks to this thread for helping me out.
