Thanks to both. Will make the trip to check it out. Any recommendations for a PPI in the Dallas area?

Nice 2012 Carrera S with 12k miles and PDK for the high 60’s ($106k MSRP). If I were in the market right now, I think it would be a smart buy.

Looking at these 3 997.2 as a DD with about 10k per year. Which one will have least depreciation over next 2-3 years. Will a manual have better resale?

https://cargur.us/kgjf8 fully loaded, high miles 911S with sport chrono and PDK
https://cargur.us/j5Kjz bare car, low miles, 911 base no sport chrono, PDK
(link below is almost same car but more miles and cheaper)
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...searchRadius=0
also looking at a 911 base 6MT with 32k mi asking 49k
thanks for your thoughts

The manuals should hold their value better. However, I also think that an S will hold it's value relatively well over the years, so if you happen to want a PDK for daily driving then I wouldn't be concerned with getting the black 911 S that you have listed. Also, I think it should be mentioned that the manual might be more reliable considering the 911 S with PDK has 62k miles. Definitely not a lot of miles, but I would just be a bit concerned with the maintenance intervals on the PDK to make sure that all maintenance is up to date on it which can be difficult when buying a dealer car. Something else to consider is that the 911 S that you posted does have full leather as well as sport chrono which might also help resale value down the road. I will let others chime in to see what they think.

For someone looking for a 997.2 C4S, with a 6 speed, sport chrono, full leather and adaptive sport seats, this is your car. I inquired on it yesterday, hoping it was a PDK, but it is a manual. I talked with one of their sales people and they mentioned that they are not sure if it will be CPO or not since they just got it in and it needs to run through service first to see if it qualifies. Not sure if the price will go up if it is certified. I doubt if they dont certify it that they will lower it. She mentioned that they had a lot of interest in it, but that could just be typical dealer talk. I looked up KBB, just as a guide (I know these cars dont follow KBB) and it listed it at $59k for not CPO and $61k for CPO. Considering the mileage, at 36k, I am sure that is why KBB is listing it lower.

That car has a history, not sure how it has a clean title. Was definitely auctioned off...
