Matt, looks great. I really like that trim piece under the door armrest. I had CF armrests, but they were kind of hard and uncomfortable so I sold them and replaced those with black leather ones, but that trim piece underneath looks really good as I have the other door ones you have as well (door spears, mirror traingles, vertical handle, extra one).
Like many of you, I hate brake dust. So, I decided I would try Pinnacle's Diamond Wheel Coating on my 19" Carrera Sport wheels.
Pinnacle's wheel coating is actually a nano-glass ceramic coating. Their literature says it creates a super slick surface on your wheels that repels brake dust buildup, allows easy cleaning and it last for up to 18 months. We will see.
The key steps were to get the surface of the wheels cleaned & polished. I removed my wheels from the car. I first used P21S wheel cleaner, followed by Pinnacle's Surface Cleansing Polish.
Once the wheels are "sparkling" clean, I applied the ceramic coating. I sprayed the coating on my wheels and on the foam applicator. I then spread the coating evenly over the surface of the wheels. I then wiped off any excess with a micro-fiber polishing towel. The instructions say say to let the wheels sit for 24 hours, and then apply a second coating of the "liquid gold".
It took me about 35-40 minutes per wheel. The Carrera Sport wheels were relatively easy to clean, but I took my time and got into all the "nooks & crannies".
Now starts the practical test...does this stuff really work? Stay tuned...

I have the 19" Sport Designs, which look great when clean but are knuckle busters to keep that way.
This new stuff is terrible. It makes my wheels look worse than not using it at all after a couple drives. I first thought it was in my head but after using it for two months they definitely have changed the formula.
The old stuff is still available on Amazon but they are charging $20 for a 7oz can whereas as the new stuff is $9 for a 11 oz can. Makes no sense.
Those ^^^^ are my favorite OEM wheels for the 997 - looks amazing

These wheels are literally what made me pass up a newer, lower mileage car within my budget for the car I eventually bought. They just haunted my dreams- I had to have them on my car.

That's funny (and a bit silly), considering you can buy used ones in perfect shape for a couple thousand a set, but happy that you're happy.
My 83 old year Mom is visiting me from the North Country of NY. We've been driving around in the Cayenne and sitting up high she can't tell on the highway i'm sometimes going over 80...well tonight I took for her Indian food and we went in the 911. Yeah but the car was so much more attractive with those wheels- just really did it for me. The newer car had some black aftermarket wheels which were good quality and looked fine but just not as good. My car also cost $10k less than the other car but that was a secondary factor.
I replaced the HVAC / Climate Control Toggles and Radio ***** on both my 997s last night. One set of toggles is from MA Carbon and the other the version 2 from ClimaRepair. Radio ***** are the OEM verisons from Suncoast.
Can you tell which toggles are which from the pictures?
