Optima 34 R red top installed free today at a family friend’s battery company, 160$ out the door. I’ve never heard this crank crank so well! Loosened up negative cable to position rhe battery on the tray and cables hold it securely from shifting. I reused my original hold down temporarily but will solve that problem shortly.
I replaced the HVAC / Climate Control Toggles and Radio ***** on both my 997s last night. One set of toggles is from MA Carbon and the other the version 2 from ClimaRepair. Radio ***** are the OEM verisons from Suncoast.
Can you tell which toggles are which from the pictures?
Pete, Is the Climarepair replacement (bottom photo) V.2 or the latest V.3 currently being advertised on their web site?
Thanks,
Johan

Finally picked up the Sport Classic front lip for my GTS. Surprised how clean the primered look is. Almost makes it unnecessary to paint as my car is white
Took my 997.2 from SF to LA and back. Logged 800 miles and the car was perfect. Here in California you have to pass on the right (slower) lane because everybody hogs the fast lane. And when you pass them on the right, quite a few expressed their dislike by honking and flashing their headlights. The assumption here in California is that if they are going at the speed limit they are not physically hogging the fast lane. Anyway my car is now back in showroom condition after a thorough detailing.
Removed the center stack on my 997tt over the weekend and sent the parts out to Eric at Bumper Plugs today for some Guards Red paint to match the console. I am hoping everything goes back together and not too many parts left over. this is a very involved project but I think it will look great with my red console.
This is the before picture and I will post pictures when its all put back together.
