It's November here in snowy Wisconsin, so today I filled the tank with premium and Sta-Bil, added an extra 5# of air to all of the tires, plugged in the trickle-charger, and bedded her down for the winter. On Monday I will call my agent to drop collision and liability for the winter.

Hi Darkhorse,
I am new to the Forum. I just purchased my first Porsche. 2005 Carrera S, and I need to purchase a car cover. Yours looks nice. May I ask about ordering info? Vendor source, part number?

This makes me so sad every time I see it. Here in NC some of the best days in a Convertible are fall and winter. Too hot in summer.

Congratulations on your new Porsche! Welcome to the fold.
The brand is: Stretch-Fit. It's a light-weight, unlined indoor-only cover that fits very well. I do not know where it was purchased; it came with the car. It came in a drawstring storage bag of the same material and a hardshell carrying case with the brand embossed in the hard shell case.
I did not see the brand with a quick Google search.

I feel your pain! Wisconsin is strictly three-season driving. I am sad to see her wrapped up like that when I need to leave in my bad-weather driver. No comparison to driving the Porsche, but there's no ice, no salt, and not a lot of miles being added to the 911. That's some consolation. I could definitely make the 911 my daily in a warmer climate. It was almost exclusively my daily driver from mid-April through mid-November this year.
