Default Removed the old cracked yellow rock guard

I just wanted to share my day with you all, with great results I might add. I removed the old cracked yellow rock guards off my 2009. I am please with the outcome but took me about 4 hours to remove one of these using a steamer and 3M adhesive remover. It did not want to come quietly, but I fought it a quarter-inch at a time, going slowly and using a nylon "knife" tool to peel at the edges.

Like you say, the proof is in the photos... It was definitely work, but well worth it.

First oil change after 5000 miles. Very easy to do but u need a low profile oil basin and a filter wrench. Got mine off Amazon, Lisle $9.69. The filter at first looked like it wouldn't fit but if you push down hard it will slide over the fitting. As a test, drive with a group of other p cars from Atlanta to Asheville NC via some very twisty roads. Great fun.

Easiest oil change I've ever performed! Filter nice and clean. Quite a rewarding job...

Sweet GTS. Back at the boring end of the spectrum, I swapped out the village residence stickers on my 997.2 and Cayenne S as well as the wife's Q7, and I've got the torn up fingers to prove it. Getting the old stickers off the inside of the windshield took me 45 minutes using Goo Gone, a razor blade and Windex .

I have NO idea what kind of glue they use for these stickers, but no matter how carefully I peel them back they invariably peel off leaving some sort of residue that requires super-human patience to remove. And it doesn't help that they're supposed to be positioned at the lower right hand side of the windshield where it's virtually impossible to get a good angle to scrape off the kryptonite glue... But at least it's done for now and I won't have to do battle with it for another 12 months

Had my BRIDGESTONE Potenza's from Tire Rack installed! Local installation only came to $98 and that included Hunter Roadforce balancing.

I had been procrastinating replacing my original Michelin Pilot Sport's as they had over 50% tread life still on them. However, they were over 8 years old and will be doing a long weekend trip next month. Even though they still looked brand, here's what happens when removing the final rear tire:
