Better on the machine than on the road!! 8 years is a long time for this type of tire. Shame you didn't enjoy the tread enough.

I did my best to rid Pennsylvania of insects that match my 997.1 by driving at high speed.

Now I can make a case to my wife that I need the Rennline black mesh grills!

Default A few interior touches

Did the core exchange on center console. Exceeded expectations...bumper plugs really does a high end job and the finish really pops. Also installed an aluminum billit FF shift **** - super easy.

Looking really good in there with the Rennline pedals, new floor mats, aftermarket head unit, shift ****, console, etc. Nicely updated!

Using my QuickJack lift, changed the manual tranny fluid with Mobilube PTX 75W90, fresh oil and filter for engine and a new air filter. Gearbox feels battery smooth so I drove it afterwards for about 4 hours with nowhere specific to go.

Prepared it for winter. Swapped tires from Sottozeros to SO4's and put in carpeted floor mats. When I get a day off I'll strip the wax, do a light correction and then put a couple coats of wax on it. Surprised how little time this takes to do.

Tightened a loose lower u-joint where the steering column meets the rack. My crisp steering is back!

Went for a ride through the Niagara region. Recently bought this Targa 4, previously owned a Boxster S.

Removed the rear seats. Put just the seatbacks on the scale @ 17.4lbs. Didn't believe it so I put a weight from the gym on the scale and it read 25.4 (on a 25lb weight).. so.. fair enough! I'd already pulled the seat bases, didn't bother weighing them.

Watched the kids while my wife did her first autox event. Guess it's time to get her her own helmet...and car.

Congrats. I'm in Niagara too - don't get to see many 997's round these parts. I'm in a GR 997.1 and live in Welland. Hopefully get to see you around.
