I had a major service done and picked the car up today. Had coolant tank, water pump and thermostat replaced along with engine mounts, coils, plugs and all the fluids. Im forgetting a couple things also put on new set of wheels/tires and added a MOMO steering wheel. Car feels so much better now.
Tell me about the schnell.
Am about to install an OEM 997 SSK box with the FF Shift Right solution kit mod.
Never heard of that setup.
TIA.
And what's that installed above your wheel hub, an LED rev indicator?

the schnell short shifter just reduces any extra movement in the shifter as well as reducing the throw distance substantially. My last car had a short shifter so once I got the 911 it felt weird having such a long pull into gear. The schnell reduces the movement by like 50%. Super easy install if you have the center console out and only like a $100 part so well worth it imo
yes thats a rev limiter above wheel hub.

how much thicker did you go on the steering wheel? Worth it? Wish you went more or less?
Not sure technically how much more was put in. Did a core exchange with an eBay seller DCT Motor Sports. I picked the alcantara and black center ring. It does feel pretty thick and has some nice finger indents. Feels really good and way better than the skinny stock wheel. I really wanted to retain the airbag so well worth it for $1k plus reupholstered shifter, boot, ebrake, armrest
