you can grab the decals for cheap off ebay , vht make specific caliper paint and clear. clear isn't strictly necessary but putting it over the decals does help preserve them a bit better
Making some Jack point lifts for my quick-Jack. I need to replace some belly plates, and fix some broken fastener studs underneath.
Solid 6160 bar stock.
Finally bolted on the new Soul sport mufflers (was driving with their headers and cats and stock cans). Lost the nice metallic cold start snarl, but the overall tone is deeper and sounds better on throttle.
Are the paint and decals going to stand up to wheel cleaners and pressure washer?
i never pressure washed that area with any real pressure so can't comment on that, but have had decals hold up just like new over many years with clearcoat on top. can't comment how long it lasts without the clearcoat. i've used a few different spray on wheel cleaners and such, paint has been fine. the biggest thing for me was chips from gravel which get at it over time, maybe my clear is not as hard as what the professionals use but i did notice my home painted ones chip differently than stock. take that with a grain of salt though as my previous cars have been offroaded a lot (wrx stis), i wouldn't dare drive my 911 in the same rough way over that kind of terrain
