Turned 70K miles and had the 60K service completed, opps add a new battery and time to think about new rear tyres. NAVI system still thinks it is 2003, she just refuses to age.

I painted and baked my OEM 997 exhaust tips with some 2000 degree rust oleum. May do another coat after wet sanding.

Drove mine from LA to Vegas again.
At night.
Light traffic on I-15.
No LEO's.
No Waze alerts.
No X-winds.

Chased a Bentley Continental GT with dealer temp plates for 50 miles through semi truck side-by-side rolling roadblocks.
Enjoyed blistering acceleration after every one, right up to "driver's" Vmax limit...

...'cause his V12, if the "Speed Model", is rated at 692 hp and a claimed 207 mph top speed...my GTS, 408 and 188.

I eventually left him in the Mojave desert dust...after briefly seeing only 155 on my speedo.
Though he did have a 1900 lb weight disadvantage.

Some places in the USA do resemble the autobahn.
Though American drivers reliably, and infuriatingly, hog the left most lanes and force faster traffic to pass them on the right.

Stopped off at Mojave Airport/Spaceport for the sunset.

Installed BNC intake filters for a nice 20hp gain!
Tempted to leave the airbox open to hear some good sound.

It's a .2 C2S.

I usually see the BNC filters at all the big online Porsche sites for over $200. Amazon has them right now for $130, for that price why not.
