LOL!!😂

I would’ve just tried to snap off the nut intentionally and punch them out. Was it that bad?

That is what happened, when I tried taking off the nuts they were so rusted seized the 3 bolts snapped in half. So I had to drill, dremel, and punch them out.

The first 2 took a couple of hours each after a day of settling with PB blaster, the 3rd one was a nightmare.

Oh, I guess punching them out isn’t as easy as I would have expected. Glad I decided not to mess with mine when I was replacing the other bolts during my water pump replacement.

Rory Reid (ex Top Gear, now AutoTrader UK) recently reviewed a C8 Corvette on one of my local Sunday morning roads - YouTube

Just for yucks, drove up to the spot where he does the external walk-around bit (at the 5m10s mark) this morning...

I like Rory and very cool that they shot that review in your backyard!

Rory needs to not cross the mustard though, he knows better! 😂

I’m jealous you have that road to drive ant given day.

Which road is that, I live in the east bay and grew up in San Jose and I'm not familiar with that road. Thx

Yesterday, I drove my old 997.1 (loaned back to me by the guy I sold it to) across the closed runway at Kaneohe Marine Corp base on Oahu.

Tooled around on some taxiways, found the EOD shop and spun it around a dozen times on the compass rose (where maintenance troops "swing" the aircraft "Whiskey" magnetic compass* using a calibration procedure). Found a cool hidden beach as a backdrop, as well.

It's the road from San Jose up to Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton - https://goo.gl/maps/5SZtntEdyYy
