Default Climate Switches

Purchases a set off Amazon. Arrived quickly and fit perfect. ;-). Happy, as they bugged me ever since I bought the car 3 years ago. ;-)

I did this as well a few weeks back, amazing how easy it was and how much better they look. Amazon for the win!

Get the LN Engineering stainless skid plate to protect it as it hangs down fairly low for the extra capacity. That skid plate is solid, unlike the OEM Porsche aluminum offering.

An oscillating tool cuts the factory baffle very straight and cleanly for a flush fit to the windage tray.

Baffle with tabs removed on windage tray

Ignore the quick drain valve. Was temporary and replaced with LN magnetic plug but only have pics of that with the skid plate installed, which obscures the view of the deep sump

LN skid plate installed

Nice access to oil filter without removing the plate

Installed it bowed/sprung intensionally to keep it away from the deep sump and make it less prone to deflecting upwards if it contacts something like a tire gator

So you don't believe the data in the UIDS thread?

Secondly, I can still manage to get a dip visible on the gauge with the 2qt deep sump with windage, which looks better than then mantis, in my opinion.

Now, you can argue that it's not a large enough dip, and/or it doesn't occur often enough, but the UIDS is designed to stop the dip. Period. But I'm not on their marketing team nor invested. Just excited for the new tech.

Its not that I don't believe it, they are still working it out. And if they get it worked out and the data shows that great. It would be on the list.

Lowered our shop C2S on Eibach springs.

A little torn. One one hand, the gap is reasonable and the car is leveled properly. Stock gap was 3-3.5 fingers while Eibach is 1.75 fingers all around. On the other hand, not quite as low as we thought it would be.

I think it looks just about perfect. You need some suspension travel for the car to work properly, especially at high speeds. If you run out of suspension travel in a high speed corner with any type of undulation mid corner you'll lose control of the car when the body forces transfer to the suspension and it can't absorb them anymore.

I agree with Petza 914 - it looks really good. Particularly the fronts.

Hard to tell from this photo, but it looks like the rears would benefit from spacers. 10mm or so.

Another thought from an appearance perspective is that with your black wheels and polished rim, I think the tire / wheel arch separation width may be influenced by the polished rim.

In other words, I think the eye may unconsciously judge the distance more so from the polished rim to the wheel arch rather than the tire to the wheel arch - maybe even more so on a black car.
Just an thought / opinion.

The car looks good though.

Here are some more angles of the car with the Eibach's installed.

@Ironman88 probably nailed it. The polished lip is likely causing an illusion of more wheel gap.

Brake Sensor Warning popped on... Hmmmm'ed and Hawww'ed a bit and then just ordered a Front Brake Service Kit... Rotors in, waiting for the rest of the kit to do the service.
