Mine was only 30 min away, but it took two hours to get home. Strangest thing... Sounds like it was worth the trip for you though!!

I agree with that. Everyone should be free to run his life. We do not need a nanny state.

Bought a hard top for my 997.2. Hung it on the wall and waiting for the receptors to arrive from Suncoast. Probably need some help from my friends here on installation and adjusting the hard top hardware to sit properly on the car.

Sometimes the road less traveled means your unicorn most traverse Porsche-unworthy roads.
Still, it was a fun, but short, drive before heading off to work...T

Bought a hard top for my 997 a while back as well, and obtained the in-car mounts from a seller in Germany on ebay (new, in box, OEM, nothing fishy) for a bit less than Suncoast. But top still leaning against a cabinet in the garage because I haven't had time to try installing the mounts (I generally don't work on my car myself at all -- I know what I'm good at, and it's not that.).

This thread (though technically about conversion from 996 to 997) may help, but I would be interested in your input if you do the install -- i can probably use all the help I can get if I do it myself.

What a coincidence... My car got one of those installed yesterday along with replacement OEM side resonators and bypass valves.

Lol, I recognize that box kept it after my install. A perfect container for the stock muffler.

Njoy. You're gonna be pleased overall with that bypass.
