Royal Steering in the UK re-wrapped my sport steering wheel. I went with dark grey alcantara and beefed up the thickness to match XPA. The thickness of the stock sports wheel was too small and simply just didn't feel right at the thumb 9 and 3 o'clock thumb slots. The whole process took about 3 weeks including shipping.

i'm very happy with the thickness and workmanship. If this was the thickness I would not have re-wrapped it. Leather if fine but thought I might as well try out Alcantara. Initially it was a little strange but I think I'm going to like it.

Looks great. I recommend that you invest in some Dipcoat. It's a simple spray solution that applies much like trim dressing, this will remove the rubbery feeling Plastidip has.

Put my goddamn bumper back on realizing I bent my side marker clips and they're loose plus a busted headlamp washer elbow so that's 50$ and misc hardware to shore up my front bumper just so. Of course it has to come off again for the new headlamp washer sillies! I will scrub the living shttt outta those wheels and wells ala AMMO NYC.

So I purchased two interior rear quarters off Ebay for around $250 (I think they are around $1700 each new from Porsche,) brought it to my upholstery place where we matched the Alcantara and purchased original Porsche black carpeting and recovered the rear seats and quarters. Of course I have stored the original black leather quarters for originality. The job came out perfect. The lighting in the pictures does not do the job justice.

I went retro today...installed wheels and snow tires from my old 996 C4S. The 996 wide body fitment isn't too bad on the NB 997S

Thats a random question for the "What did you do to your 997 today?" thread...but to give you an answer - it's a high lubricity pre-mixed spray detailer that is used to clean cars without rinsing. Thus being waterless...

Installed a new battery in my 2009 CS. It replaced the original Moll stamped 33 08. Can't believe a battery from 2008 lasted this long based on what I've read on rennlist.

.....so I guess that would actually be "rinse-less", not "waterless"

Just purchased mine over the weekend! =)

2005 C2, manual, 49k miles, Nav, Bose, Heated power seats. Lowered on H&R springs, but will be replacing them with Carrera S springs shortly as the fronts are sagging quite a lot...
