[QUOTE=ilko;12155174]Interior is now done. Had the door pulls and center console strip painted and I installed them this week:

That's just enough incremental red to compliment the stitching and gauges without going too far.

Nicely done!

I am having a hard time getting my head around the last part.
haha...but the lift would only be for seconds at a time. Maybe lip is the trade off for improved stance.

Yes, it could be, but I really like the look of the front lip on may car.

I may still lower my car and see what happens to the lip. I still wish someone like GT3 Tek made a poly front spoiler lip for the 997.2 models.

Illuminated door sills and pedals. Pedals are the ones from Suncoast.

500 mile weekend getaway with the missus. Even on straight interstates, doing only a few mph over the speed limit (honest ), with typical weekend DFW traffic, this car is still a joy to drive!

Installed TPC DSC module and additional accelerometer in my 997.1 C2S.

It's a pricey mod but it transformed the car and PASM is actually useful.

So I spent the day exploring the 3 new PASM modes and turned 116k miles.

Switched footwear from Winter 18s to Summer 19s and gave it its first wash since Thanksgiving. It's amazing how much a good sudsy wash will transform a car! Bring on Springtime...

I took my neighbor with me on my favorite 4 mile lap that I do to exercise my cars. I was trying to steer him into a Carrera S but he is the Cayman S on his mind. He just sold his 78 to a guy in Norway and want something more modern. He was very very impressed.

Drove to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner. As I got out of my car, a 991 C4S pulled in and parked just across the aisle. I thought that was cool. 2 C4S 911s at the grocery store!

Are you still on the stock (original) shocks, springs & struts?

Same here. An easy 15 minute job. The stainless covers go right over the old plastic sills and look much better even before they light up!

I opted for white Carrera and blue 4S to go with the blue car, but many options exist.

Nice! I want one of those TPC DSC's badly. Glad to hear that your experience with it so positive.
