Gave "Penny" a good wash after the three weeks or so of very rainy weather we've had here in Northern California. Much needed but not so good for the aesthetics of a P-car. Apologies for the fuzzy picture -- it was about 45 when this was taken and my hands were shaking. (I know, you Midwesterners and Northerners, go ahead and laugh at the wimpy Californian. I actually grew up in Portland, Oregon, but have lived in California more than half my life now.)
Unlike Wayne - I'm embracing "The Dirty Frog" look - last night, I came out to find someone had spelled WASH ME! on my decklid hahaha - these kids today... - I've decided to leave it on there for a minute because it's actually pretty funny.
Drove up and over the mountain before work this morning - we had a washout on a particularly epic stretch of canyon on the 1, which has actually made the road fantastic: Since the closure, the tourist perception is that the road doesn't 'go anywhere' anymore, so no one drives on it. It's pretty much both lanes all yours out and back - save for a few other Porsches and motorcycles who have also discovered this wonderful phenomenon.
(word to the locals: I have seen CHP patrolling the route in pairs - so keep your eyes up.)

and a couple pix from the morning run -
BlueChip - your car looks fantastic all clean! - I may have to wash mine this week! hahaha - In the meantime still loving the new headers, and tune - looking into the DSC box by TPC Racing, as well as the Eibach pro-kit and some sways. Maybe first week of January... let's see what happens.
Also, I do like those plasti-dipped wheels with the white porsche lettering on the throwinbombs turbo. I'm not traditionally a black-wheel lover, but the matte finish looks slick with the white lettering. Very cool!
I'll be on the lookout for you 911. I drive up hwy 1 pretty regularly.

Clean Penny!
Hey I hear you in that here in Tampa Fl, most wear a jacket when it gets in the 60's...but at least you got out there and did what you had to do to keep your 911 clean.
Engine always used alot of oil since purchased new but always in spec. Never tracked. Started burning 1 quart / tank. Ultimately found multiple worn cylinders....
BTW.....No IMS issues.

What year and model is your car? Who did the work?
Laid some granite to help my wife park to the left and let me pull in (to the garage) on the right. Only had a couple inches to spare before.
OK, this is indirect, but still significant on a pie shaped property that slopes up from the street.
... Getting crash reports on my phone, but this is not uncommon on this Forum. Once again, not sure if the photos are included or not ... Will find out when I hit SEND!
