Just search homelink in rennlist, there's lots of posts. One in the turbo forum is what helped me. My car picked it up no prob but the opener didn't trust my car so I pushed the "learn" button on the motor box and presto

I bet you have a "rolling code" system. More secure but just like in network, a PITA. Requires you to push a button on the motor in the garage then button on the car. Google homelink rolling code programming. Most newer garage door systems use this.

I followed the instructions on the website you mentioned www.homelink.com.
I had to do all steps 1-9 in order for the homelink to work. Also, I noticed once it has been programmed, the homelink button needs to be depressed longer in order to activate garage door.

I'm pretty new to the forum and to Porsche. Picked up my '09 C4S about 3 weeks ago. Love everything about the car and it was in immaculate shape when I brought it home, except.... the aluminum center console had a couple of dings in it. That presented me with the opportunity to replace it with a new console in carbon fiber trim, so that's what I did to my 997 two days ago.

Wash, clay, polish, wash, wax. Tired. All by hand.
I used some Zymol Creme wax and Zymol HD Cleanse that I had in the garage and hadn't used for a while. I forgot that it's a bit of a PITA to work with compared to Zaino or Meguiars NXT, but man does it look sweet. Car feels like glass.
Even my non-car-eye wife came home and noticed.
Tonight it's interior time. I may do a coat of NXT over the zymol too. We'll see how adventurous I am.
There is something slightly therapeutic to detailing a car.
