Winter is approaching in Sweden so the weekend was spent cleaning the car thoroughly, waxing, cleaning and preserving the leather and charging the battery. Now it will go to rest for the winter under a car cover in the garage. I can't wait until spring

shammerman - yes it is. Came with the wing, and it's really grown on me. I love it.

Scott - I hope so man! I'll give a shout next time we do a drive up here, do the same if you've got something going down your way. Thanks for the props - your car looks great too, great processing on those images too!

Thanks Mike,

you really need to do the tranzit, I had left it lying around for months and finally got off my a$$ and did it, should have done it earlier!

You got around to doing your gen2 rear bumper/light upgrade?

Fabspeed high-flow cats and X-Pipe installed today. Totally mind bending experience. So in love with the sound that I left the stereo off, put the top down and took a 2 hour drive out the coast and through the redwoods after work. I didn't want to come home. The car sounds as near to perfect as I can imagine now.

The down shifts, burbles at the right time, not too much - just right. No drone, but on throttle it roars like a cup car. idling in the driveway, you can tell something's going on but it doesn't wake the baby across the street. Stab the gas and birds fly away.

It's truly amazing, so happy I did it.

After:

Paired with the CAI, and the Fister sport mufflers, it's like the car suddenly came to life, and here I had thought it was already alive and kicking! The sound is intoxicating. I'm completely in love with it.

Installed wheel spacers to my NB C2S! I went with 15mm ECS Tuning spacers in the back and 7mm H&R spacers in the front. No vibration so far. I think 15mm for the rear is perfect, but 7mm was a bit too small for the front. 10mm spacers probably would be perfect for a flush look. All-in-all, I'm happy with the mod. The car looks much better.

We just got home back to KC! What a weekend! we split from our morning drive group on Saturday toward the end and headed to the Pig Trail, ran that both directions and a bunch of other roads. 200 miles Saturday alone, all but maybe 30 miles was 2 lane ridiculousness!!

Chased an SLS AMG GT COUPE on some twisty roads in NY on my way to Lagrangeville airport. It was a lot of fun and when we parted ways we stopped side by side and talked from car to car. He apologized for holding back, explaining he had just picked it up and was told to keep it below 4000 RPM and had taken it up to 5500 RPM trying to break away as I pushed him. I thanked him for leading and complimented his ride. That is one gorgeous MB with an impressive wide body:
