I don't know the actual measurements but I'm almost certain that my sport buckets are lower than standard seats. I'm 6'2" and even with my helmet on in a sunroof car I have adequate clearance.

Are you able to enter/exit with your helmet on? That was always difficult for me without bumping (6'1"), so I typically just put my helmet on once in the car.

PS - this was in my .1 C2S with sport seats

Re: the sport buckets, the only set I've sat in was in a couple of Boxter Spyders and although my recollection was that they sat lower than the lowest setting on the sport or standard seats, I couldn't say for sure. Your rep could probably find out for sure as I'm certain there is a measurement on them somewhere.
Boxster Spyder sport bucket seats aren't all that low and per the techs at Carlsen, they can't be lowered from the starting position.
At least, I wouldn't pass the "broomstick" test, and I'm just 6'5".

It broke my heart, because the Spyder is pretty much my ideal car.

Just get it with the other seats. It'll still be awesome to drive.

Me too, if it were a second car for me. I need the rear seats to ferry kids to/from daycare.

I responded to this question in the GTS pricing thread.

I really don't have any trouble entering and exiting with my helmet on. I usually put it on in the car like you do, but sometimes I jump out to check tire pressures between runs and don't bother to take it off. FWIW, I'm 6'2" and in the sport buckets with my helmet on and head back against the seat, I have about 2" clearance to the roof. I just went out and checked!

That's awesome! I was just invited to a track event at Road Atlanta Sunday after the Petit Le Mans, so I will get to see how I fit with a helmet in the .2. I also get to do some hot laps with Patrick Long and Jorg Bergmeister (now if only I could convince them to take me in the RSR).

You lucky dog! Give us some feedback on how that goes.

Thanks for all the quick and good feedback. I will enjoy the GTS even if it has the sunroof -- but will keep my fingers (illogically) crossed, just in case...

RPM Sportscars has the most beautiful one I have seen with only 145 miles and nicely priced, here (no affiliation):

Oh daaayum, that's a nice one.
Tempting.
I just wish someone could show me a way to lower the sport buckets....

I know for a fact that Sport Buckets sit higher than sport seats or standard manual or electric seats.

I have sport seats...which I fit in the sport buckets...but being 6'5" tall the buckets put me too high. I do enter and exit my car with helmet on in my sport seats.
