Bose adds no value to me, quite the opposite. Some, like mdrums with audio expertise, even say that it is technically a worse system. In addition, it adds significant weight and robs shelf space in a coupe, or passenger floor space in a cabrio.

IMHO opinion, the std stereo is quite accurate. Accurate if you like a natural, flat frequency response rendition, that is.

If you consider the GTS a Sport Classic "Lite" with 150K off, then it might be more appealing.

Beowulf -- just noticed you're getting Euro delivery on your GTS. Do you have an estimated delivery date, and will you be posting extensively (during and afterwards) to enable us all to live vicariously through you?

Someone asked what you save by getting the GTS over ordering the parts separately - this is the closest I could come to a stock vs. stock comparison of coupe models (granted, there is no way to compare the value of the C4 widebody on the GTS, nor the CL RS Spyder wheels, and not all the alcantara bits are on the standard configurator). Don`t forget Sport Design Apron $2990.Wheels can be priced by looking at Turbo pricing. Wider body, side skirts, and rear set up are hard to price. I am probably missing a couple of things.

What some seem to be forgetting is that the GTS is a wide body car with a wider rear track and rear wheel drive....it's more than just more power.
I can't wait to see one.
