read through the thread with much attention, and ordered an OWTOWSIN 2023 Qualcomm top of the line unit which shall be arriving today normally ....

I was wondering, has anyone worked on and succeeded in downloading the APK's from the Porche PCCM+ system to run in on the aftermarket android HU to access the porsche-specific functions?

does anyone with a PCCM+ feel like trying? I can probably help

Thanks for the detailed explanations.

Did you manage to resolve the problem with the right hand steering wheel controls? The rotating control does work with the supplied radio app but not with my preferred youtube music. Also I now have the remaining fuel display showing on the screen when I turn the unit on! So the CANBUS must be working.

Did you find any way to reallocate the existing button like car and nav to other functions?

1) did you go into the secret factory menu to set CANKEY

2) only after #1) above is done - then can you map all buttons (other then 2) in the steering wheel key app.

can't find CANKEY, I have car model which is set at CAN Box type porsche /cayenne /CAN Box BG.XP, no other model

the setting original car agreement has an option CAN box upgrade

can't see any other option :-(

do you have the high quality or low quality unit? which link did you buy from

they run different software.

also did you follow the exact instruction set in posted ?

Thanks for the reply. I bought from Owtosin official store. I was the option 12, android 11 8 core CPU. Its not available for sale anymore!

This isnt the right one i believe.

PX5 + PX6 + QCM processors with the higher end silver rear heatsink (similar to the Porsche pccm+) is the correct one.

if its gloss black or brown rear heatsink... it is the public/wholesale units with a completely different line of internal components model - none of my instructions, passwords, even wire harness stuff will work - as everything is different.

yes 3368 is the factory passcode for mine, its android 12. It has the black heatsink. Very pleased with it apart from the can bus keys on the right side.

Hoping to find some help here. I ordered from Owtosin on AliExpress, trying to install over the past couple of days. Unfortunately, whatever I do, I can't seem to be getting any sound. I suspect the MOST fiber optic adapter is not wired correctly or not working. In fact, initially I did wire it wrong (used the thin wired going to the CAN box), but I rectified that now as per myw's suggestion in this thread (spliced black into thick black wire, yellow into thick yellow wire, and red (ACC+) into blue wire ANT wire. I verified that I have +12V between black and yellow, and between black and red. However, no sound. Nothing.

I actually have two MOST boxes (because I ordered systems for my 997 and 957, both with Bose), tried swapping them out but no difference. What are the chances of both being faulty, I'd think. So, I'm kind of at a loss. I read through all 53 pages of this thread over the past few days. Anyone has any idea what I might have missed or done wrong?

Also, when I disconnect the fiber optic (orange) connector from the MOST box with the system running, should I be seeing any red light/laser beams or anything. Because it's completely dark. By the way, if I put back my original PCM (which I now have), everything is working fine, so I don't currently suspect any fuses or broken optical wires or anything like that.

Edit: I think I might be on to something. I have two identical MOST boxes, saying "MOST-PC/ML V20160322" on a little white sticker. However, the two wiring harnesses are actually pinned differently! That doesn't make any sense to me. Can anyone confirm for me which would be correct? Looking into the connector, with the retaining clip on top, the one I have been using seems to be:

(left to right, top to bottom)
Yellow - (+12V/B+) red - black -white (audio RCA)
empty - red (ACC+) - black (ground) empty

The one I have unused in the box has the follow pinout (same order, orientation etc)

empty - red - black -white (audio RCA)
empty - red (ACC+) - black (ground) yellow (+12V/B+)
