You will never again hear Porsche Marketing speak of "native dry-sump lubrication"! Nor will you ever see anything like it (the Mezger) ever again on a road-legal Porsche. I'll agree with that

Here is a late generation Cup / RSR case I bought years ago and have in my spare parts bin. This was used on the Motorsport Mezgers until 2016. This is a dual squirter case essentially identical to the ones used on the road going 997GT3s with the exception that the Motorsport ones are made in Germany vs. Austria for the road cars. These are substantially nicer than the 996TT 964 era aircooled based cases. It's interesting how they list the aluminum composition right on the case.

No reason you couldn't. I was originally going to use it in my build but decided against it as this is becoming a hugely valuable part. The 991Cup Mezger I just acquired has the same case and that will be used in the upcoming build.

Burning Brakes
Perhaps those k26s were k24/26 hybrids?!
I suppose it makes sense that they were larger turbos being that its a 'race car' and not a street car. The small turbine housing on the k16 wouldn't make sense.

It's a Tip but given the comments it looks like it will do well.
