A reasonable price for any Mezger is many hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars. But for some inexplicable reason they can still be purchased for
pennies on the dollar due to a pervasive and seemingly perpetual ignorance as to what they really were

Thus if you want one, the time to buy is always yesterday. IE the artificially depressed pricing will not last forever
It's really quite explainable, the engines are so immortal that they rarely fail, meaning the demand for a used Mezger is low. Oddly enough, prices for M97, 96 engines is quite high and and reflected in the pricing.

Not necessarily true.... I have a brand new "996" Mezger dual squirter case that is made in Germany.

i'm not sure if this should be here or the other thread. I'm putting it here due to the low mileage, rare color combo even though it's highly modified and looks like it's missing 2 wheel bolts?

That cinnamon brown interior is wild. I would like to know more about the "built" transmission.

Usually modified cars (bodykits and wheels) typically do worse on these platforms, even with other good factors like low mileage, etc.

We'll see how it does. I'd love to see Cinnamon interior next to Natural Brown just to see how much more red it is.

I think this car could be REALLY beautiful. I didn't see the lovely contrast carpet interior - my favourite when paired with a lighter leather colour.

Lapis is a BEAUTIFUL colour, and my C2 was that colour before I painted it.

Did I ever tell you guys the story that I bought my Turbo through a friend who was a broker, car was listed as Lapis and was across the country, and when I watched it come off the truck I told my friend it wasn't Lapis, that it was Midnight? That was a bit of a stressful day for him :P

This car was probably a prestige car before the exterior was criminalized

Yes, that car has been ruined, in my humble opinion.

The thing is, someone could probably un-ruin it if they wanted to.
