Why thank you all for noticing my purchase - didn’t realize it set a record but worth the price when you consider the condition of the car but its all about what makes one happy - and I’m HAPPY - but don’t worry about it being a “garage queen”: I’ll be driving her, not just looking at her! I was thinking about doing a Safari car for the Edmonton winters...but I would buy a really good driver quality one and build off that...

The easiest thing is to use a fuse. Just plug the wires into the 2 fuse tabs. Amperage does not matter.

I used a spade to interconnect the two wires that were connected to the clutch switch.

yes, either two male spade lugs crimped on to an inch or two of wire, or as @theprf mentioned, a spare fuse. You are just shorting the two leads that normally go to the switch together which provides a ground signal.

I don't get it. The accumulator is only there to assist clutch pedal prior to start. So why bypass the accumulator to save the accumulator?? Or better yet: why save the accumulator at all; mine hasn't worked in ages who cares???
