According to POST # 1 the thread is about upper end 996tt that are not under $40K, no bargain bins special.

This 2002 Slate Gray even has a Concours Award from a PCA event, unless seller bought the award from eBay.
The vehicle appears to present well ( at least to me).
Mileage @ 48K miles, no accidents, clean title, nice upgrades,etc.

Anyone care to elaborate than simply replying "No"

What does qualify for "PRESTIGE"
Post #1 does not limit mileage a disqualifier.
Everyone has a different definition of what "prestige" is. Lots of things make up to me what that is, color, mileage, options, rarity, condition, and history. I could see how this could fall in some people's definition of prestige but mileage might drop it off for others. No need to ask if it falls under prestige if it is prestige to you feel free to post it. If others don't think it is prestige they will probably let you know.

Mileage is too high, and the price is too low. The car just isn’t special enough.

Prestige cars are going for around $90k and up these days.

@pirahna

@Dock

Thank you all for going out of your way inform me.
Correct me if I am wrong on my interpretation, ' Prestige " would be potential Pebble Beach candidates in the Concours Level 1 to 1.5.
Modded 996tt are not exactly "prestige"
If that is the case, the Seal Gray Modded 996tt does not fit the bill.
I got It

Whatever....

This thread is for particularly nice 996 Turbos that would be of interest to those of us that know these cars well. Lets not get too caught up on thresholds for inclusion.

996TTs are surely collector cars now. This person walked away from a $106k offer.

100% and probably would’ve been bid higher if it wasn’t a Canadian car which makes no sense to me.

I agree.

I guess, here's the real question - what's the inflection point where quoting the mileage in the title is no longer advantageous? Obviously, 5k miles, 10k miles, etc. all considered low mileage. But, as the cars age, does that creep move to the right?

For me, I feel like the cutoff for quoting mileage in the title like that is probably what, 50k miles? 40k miles? What are y'alls thoughts?
