@pirahna, please don't take offense, but I noticed your current car being described as "Carrera White", I understand it to be "Carrara White" taken from the name of the city Carrara where Carrara marble is quarried. I too have a Carrara White 996TT.....beautiful paint for any 996

Standard 996 Turbos now doing sticker price was not missed by anyone, trust me
And the 996 GT’s pulling more money than 997 GT’s is getting the same silent-disbelief treatment everywhere as well
This is all a bad dream for the haters, or so they hope
Kismet

This is a high water mark on BaT. Surprised no one mentioned it.

Question for the brain trust:
On a sub-3,000 mile car, how bad would the hit be with these 2 warts?
1. Bad scratch on front bumper cover, so fix before going on BaT by either touch up or repainting entire front bumper cover;
2. Car was serviced at Porsche dealer last year, $4,000 in repairs, one was replacing fuel pump. Worrisome one was clearing rodent nest out of cabin air filter
Car runs fine now. Light gray interior shows some wear and carpet stains, but would have it fixed before listing.
Seal gray exterior.
X50 package.
Bone stock.
Original owner. I have dealer license, so would be sold as one owner car.
Kansas City car since new.
After prepping, would hit the market in March or April.
Thoughts in BaT sale price? I am trying to decide if it is worth messing with based on seller’s asking price now.

I think if the bumper repaint is very high quality and you provide proof the fix was due to a minor garage incident and not a collision the impact on the sale would be very minimum. Same goes for the rodent nest, no one is going to care so long as you can confirm it was a simply a nest in the cowl and there aren't chewed wires and/or a stinky interior to go with it.
As for the sale price, it's tough to say since there is so much unpredictability from one car to the next. But with only 3k miles I would be pretty shocked if it didn't go for at least $95-100k, even with a fairly "boring" Seal gray/light gray interior.

At 3k miles and x50 it should be well north of $100k. Bumper resprays aren't that big of a deal, just document it with pictures. How much wear can there be to the interior of a 3k mile car? If the wear looks excessive for the mileage it is going to make people question the accuracy of the mileage. Be prepared to answer a lot of questions from the BaT crowd.

Front bumper respray in preparation for sale is typical of dealers and providing all metal panels meter out and the CarFax is perfect: no penalty
A mouse nest is a non issue
Graphite interior must be 100% showroom new or it will tank your auction that is for certain
Peanut gallery will seriously harass you about:
DME!!
Rear wing
Window regulators
Clutch accumulator
(Brush any absurd questions about coolant pipes off as “car never tracked”)
Clear ALL these hurdles and museum-miles X50 is a $125K+++ car this spring
Heck some (desirable color) non-X50’s are already breathing hard on sticker price, and 2/3 the country can’t even drive yet

I have been off this site for a while but I really was impressed with this one (i hope it was not already discussed). I almost thought of selling my Seal Grey non x50 and buying this but i am not sure my wife would be on board. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-cabriolet-80/ The paint on this looks so good and the darker top i feel would have more longevity than the light color i have.

Even modified cars are selling for strong money.
