The modifications are overlooked because of the low mileage maybe? I personally don't understand the inflated value low mileage adds. As much as I love the look of my Turbo when I walk by it in the garage, I enjoy driving it even more. Time ( and also T2) has proven the 996 Turbo to be a very robust car.
To each their own, i love that my 2004 TT has only 38k miles on it, i drive it when i feel like driving it, i dont pay attention to the mileage but i rather drive my tesla in congested areas
Unique optioned 4S with 030 that car is a good longterm hold
At some point in the future it will be worth a bloody fortune regardless of miles

A base Carrera probably doesn't belong in the Prestige 996tt thread even if it is modified to be a twin turbo. I wouldn't buy that car for $30k but I'm not the target market.
Not sure how I feel about this one! Great condition, highly original, and "unique" (to say the least), sure it will bring some strong bids...
But on my personal "don't like" list,

Burl wood trim
Tiptronic
Nice looking car warts and all. Pastel yellow is one of my favorite colors that was available on 993's, it doesn't look as good on a 996 to me but still a good-looking car.
Exactly, Pastel is simply classic on 993, but for some reason just washes out on 996. Still Paint To Sample on any yellow Mezger is likely to be a formidable collector

DOH! Edited. How did I miss that! I saw the horsepower and listing and thought it was a turbo. Didn't even notice it was a non factory turbo car..
Today on BaT... A clean but far from pristine 75K mile Turbo 6-speed coupe, mostly stock, no 'collector' options (X50, PCCB, etc), $68K with buyers premium.

Wowza $70K was unicorn color, or X50 money only last year. For an ‘01 in Silver and with almost 80K miles, this is astounding
