I've also been surprised at how many low-mile examples we've seen lately -- but I suppose it makes sense that we'd see them come out of the woodwork after values have finally risen. Values for "non-prestige" 996TT's had appeared flat for a while.
Adding my Turbo S cab tip for consideration. Only 7,647 miles, originally $160,310.00. Price reduced by $5k today. I have a strong dealer offer in hand, would love it to go to an enthusiast on the forum if there's interest. Thanks all
I think that based on one's physical build sport seats are a negative. They at least are for me.
I agree 100%. But I recognize that sport seats are one of the sought after features by this generation of buyers. Three of my cars have sports seats with extended bolsters. Two do not have sports seats. I go through an added effort to lift myself up and over the outside bolster when I drive the cars with sports seats. For those unwilling or unable to do this, or for those that frequently wear jeans, they can expect the leather on that outside bolster to make an early exit or at least show extra wear. So many cars that come up for sale show the wear on this outside bolster. I even throw a towel over the bolsters when I wear jeans. One might find it excessive until they have to go through the effort and cost to source replacement sports seats in a matching color as I did in the 90’s. Obviously just my opinion; no attempt to change the thinking of others.
It goes both ways here - the comfort seats in my turbo are terrible for me, maybe I'm too tall but I just don't fit in them like I do with sport seats. The sport seats are relatively rare and bring more money as others have posted.
Side note - if anybody has black heated sport seats they'd like to sell me lmk :]
