The orginal pre-auction dealer ad was in Florida, this new dealer ad is in Virginia.

@bdronsick Guards Red over Natural Leather is a bad combo?

I didn't say it was "bad", I said this color combo is more of a personal collector, and not an excellent candidate for a quick-flip by dealer (like a unicorn color would be)

Ah, okay this dealer hopped. I thought the new owner surfaced online. I follow so many of these things I cannot keep up! :-)

Starting to pull all this data. I'm interested in seeing BaT vs Cars.com, vs Autotrader, vs...the rest from a listing perspective etc. According to bat...295 996 TT auctions with only 58 "not selling".

Those "not selling" are "RNM" reserve not met; which is becoming increasingly rare these days as BaT pretty much insists on a virtually black book reserve price now, in order to crank volume

That said, prices on desirable color/option Mezgers are going through the roof anyway

It's the PTS yellow that did it. The collector market is gaga for 996s in yellow and PTS yellow is nirvana.

I get Paint To Sample but I don't get Pastel on 996

On 993, sure!

In time you will get it. A move to Florida will quicken the realization.

I dig pastel yellow, gotta have a black interior though. A friend had an opportunity to buy a pristine pastel yellow 993 about two years ago for under $80k. He passed on it and now he's kicking himself over it.

Think Florida, black interiors are a no-no.

That interior is full of wood, which is even worse in UV

Pastel is highly prized on 993

Almost non existent on 996, although there is this inexplicable aberration...
