Just in case anyone needs a rear 1/2 of a 996 Turbo, perhaps you'd like to convert your C2 to a widebody?? ...they even cut the door sill in half!

Lol, you could have bought this...grabbed the shifter and then with a little handy work turned the rest into a REALLY sweet couch!!!

I exchanged emails with the seller of the Snohomish car. He's very responsive and it seems to be a legitimate deal. He's got a great deal of service records, etc. and has done some minor upgrades but nothing mechanical or major. I think his asking price is way too high given the mileage and minimal options on the car, but everyone seems to have a different opinion of 996TT values lately.

I believe he's got a picture on CL of the VIN sticker.

Ya, I thought the price was a bit high, but some of that is the extra set of wheels. He's including the twists in additon to the "Fikse" wheels currently on the car. I don't want anything but factory twists so not gonna pay for the "Fikse" wheels. I will need an extra set for snows, but don't think those are it.

Also saw this one today: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/5890890559.html

I've bought from Park Place before. IMO, they're great, but high priced and won't negotiate much unless you're buying a $200k collector car. I am 100% anti-black-car or I would be considering that one.

Would be cool to spray it guards red and attach the front to the wall of my office like it's driving through the wall. Hmmm, might be a cool project. . .

That would be an awesome couch, not for $3500, but a great idea for much less!!!

This one sold several weeks ago. I was interested in purchasing, but bought another with less miles.
I wonder why it's back for sale? Still has the misaligned right exhaust tip and/ or broken motor mount.

Sold by RAC in Texas.

Carfax says one one month ownership, then returned to same seller.

I like the idea but it would have to be horse pushed to be consistent.
