Sheesh. You'd think that when creating an ad for a $40k ticket item, people would at least try to get some spelling right.

I could live with the typos but stuff like
- big chunks of wood broken off, silver trim bubbly
- "the wood was in FAIR condition when I bought it 10 years ago"...fair condition after just a couple of years!?
- "could use a polish to bring out the color"
- "there are a bunch of owners on the carfax because it moved through a couple of auctions before I bought it"
does not sound like enthusiast owned. I would check it out if I was local, but I am 1800mls away.

I emailed the guy because I really like Zanzabar red.
He sent me a couple of blurry pics and I had to extract every bit of information from him one by one. No mention of the trashed interior until I pointed it out. Who knows what else is lurking...not for me.

I tried two times to see this car, but both times I got a big run around that finally ended with an apology because someone else had just purchased the car. In the first instance, a double check a week later resulted in a confirmation that the car had been collected and was gone (with a claim that their IT folks were very slow to remove listings). In the second instance, a double check a week later resulting in no response of any kind.

Oh, and both times I was urged to put down a deposit (without any written deposit agreement being available) to insure that the car would still be there when I came to look at it.

If you do a "street view" of all their locations, you don't see anything very encouraging.

BTW: everything above probably happened around a month ago…

Don't know, maybe they just got a bad "vibe" from me…

nice score. bumper plugs.com has painted plugs for the tow hook receptacle and the door key inserts among other things like if you do a wiper delete. enjoy it!

In the background you will see a 03 or 04, it Doesn't run but it's only 20k miles interior is mint and exterior is like 9/10. Will be calling service on Monday to see what it needs and get owner details. The dealer refused to consign but might be able to low ball and get it running? Stay tuned
