38K for salvage title car, and an ad like that, is way over priced.

lolz @ kc, you guys are pretty funny sometimes. BTW, I’ve had that avatar since I was a teenager here on Rennlist I think. At some point, I got a PM from somebody who seriously asked me why I’d ever do that to a cat. For the record, I wouldn’t and haven’t done “that”, and I don’t think the picture is real...

ANYWAY, RE: Salvage, I theoretically don’t have anything against a salvage title (cars are pretty easy to total with very minor damage), but like most others, I’ve also shied away from owning such a car myself. :/

You 996 (NA) guys just love to derail threads with your childish antics, name calling and goofy posts.

^ Nice one. Escort 9500 built in is a nice plus. Mine came with one and I love it.

It's funny how you get to know the market for these cars after a while. And not just what stuff is worth, but actually get to know the cars for sale in the market. I remember when I was hawking it (ha, no pun intended, but just noticed) daily for 6 months straight looking for my car last year, I damn near had every car memorized: color, transmission, mileage, significant mods, location and price. When a new car came up on the market, I knew it immediately.

I had a $1,000 non-refundable deposit down on mine within a few hours of it being posted on ebay. Saw the ad, spoke to the seller, did some due diligence, knew it was a great deal and exactly what I wanted, called the seller back and agreed on price, placed the deposit, set up the wire transfer to send immediately after I saw the car in person and bought airline tickets for my wife and I to fly to NYC to pick it up all by 2:00 pm on the same day he listed it at 8:00 am that morning.

Seeing as my car is meridian, I approve of that Seattle car for that alone

If a member is seriously interested, I'd be willing to go check it out for you; I have durametric to run over-rev check, have a long checklist of areas to look for from when I bought my car.

I'm not a fan of the wood package, but I'm not judging. This is a fantastic deal for anyone who is a fan...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/02-Carrera-9...-/272139462389

This is a seller i've dealt with before, and they are very reliable.

(for anyone who goes for this package, I have the 4 small dash strips to complete it)

Black on Black with red deviated is certain to get more than another silver one in similar condition.
