I threw mine on CL and did a small price drop. I definitely feel like the market is a bit softer than this group thinks. If I get 50 for this car I will be happy, but I don't see it happening.

Not that car is wrong or Dash replaced but how was Turbo added to Tach? I thought that was 2004 and 2005. Is that added when Areo package is included.?
Ive been trying to figure that out ,he also has turbo on shifter. Oh well the mystery continues.

I believe the shifter might be part of the P71 Design Package?

I still love the car, just getting bored, but again, it cost me nothing to keep and I have only listed it in one area, not really pushing it to sell. But those who have expressed interest, seem looking for bargains, not realizing what welded coolant lines, metal rads, gt2 clutch hydraulics are worth.

I think that there are plenty of people who wouldn't like all of your mods and who don't really want to go to the trouble and cost of changing some of them, and consequently just throw out a lower offer price to make up for the trouble.
I personally think that your asking price is high, and that your car's configuration isn't something a majority of 996 Turbo buyers are looking for.

Personally, when selling online, i'm a big believer that great pictures get cars sold.... Your images aren't "bad" per-se, but they don't give the "That is a GORGEOUS Car and I want it!!" emotional response that a great picture gives.
eg: options/colors/etc aside, which of these would be your dream car if you didn't already own a Turbo?

Yea I have a 2003 with just on shifter and also 2002 had it with the Alum package. OK makes sense. You have the only 2002 that I saw with Turbo on tach and had me wondering. Thanks for clarifying for me. I agree you have a nice combo package car and can get the higher dollar. They are selling a 2003 x50 at Warrington Porsche with Areo 26k miles for 79 k in red. So I would agree in the 50 range

Again, you must be slow. The car has OEM (ish) gt2 decklid and front bumper. Along with stock front bumper too. And stock wheels. It's basically a stock car w/ bolt ons and lots of reliability mods. I've driven this car on 3k mile road trips several times over. I get the price is on the higher end, but again, stockish cars are going for 50s. Why wouldn't you want a car w/ better parts on it? Only you; and you are, to be kind, a little different. I have held off, because I think it would advertise better with the gt2 deck versus the big wing, but you and most intelligent buyers should see the forest trough the trees.

.... The car has an OEMish gt2 decklid also, OEM wheels, OEM bumpers along with it. A wise buyer would buy the car, sell what they don't want (decklid is almost $ 10k) and still be ahead of the game.

- extremely familiar with 996 Turbos
- know good mods vs. bad mods
- know the cost of those mods
- want a modified car,
- want to buy a car already modified vs. doing it themselves
- recognize the value of the recent service work done.
My guess that is maybe 1 or 2 out of a 100 996-gen Turbo buyers. But you're right, for those 1 or 2 buyers, your car would have great value.
I'd be in the same boat if I tried to sell my car as it sits... I put far more than I intended when I bought the car into it. Everything perfectly serviced, wheels, tires, suspension, GT2 clutch conversion, shifter, interior upgrades, gone through tip to tail.
Keep it you have space waiting for the perfect buyer. Sell it for market taking a bit hit on the upgrades if time is more important than money.

My car also won 2nd place at one of the biggest P car events on the east coast. Some people like it the way it is.
