Ok, my original post did not appear, so I am trying again. As I wrote before, if someone in the LA area is looking for a 996TT, this might be worth investigating? The seller said he is selling because he is going through a divorce.

Nice price. Two owner from NJ with regular service until it started bouncing around the auction circuit last August. The poor description in the ad title may have thrown some people off but you would think it would have sold after four months of listings if there wasn't a real issue. Too far away for me to do the investigating necessary. My contact at the dealer wasn't able/willing to supply any confidence inspiring information.

These dealerships should at least research the a little and have accurate descriptions fi they want to sell these cars to an enthusiast. I would imagine MOST people in the market for these know at least something about them...

Perhaps an opportunity to get a good deal for someone with more knowledge than the dealer.

I looked at that car, it needs work. Tires are shot paint needs work interior needs a good detail, front bumper was repainted by them.rear spoiler does not work.
So it will need money to make it a good driver, and they have had the car since late October.
they didn’t want to deal on it when I was looking and even made a good offer 2 months ago, and now it’s lower than what I offered then.
so take it as you like not bashing them but I think it’s high priced still for who knows what else it might need.
