Today is May Day around the world for about 90 countries which is another holiday.

I am in the import business and some countries seem to be always in the mañana mode.

Just wash and wax the car. Got both of my boys to help clean the wax. Car looks gleaming under the full moon. But I hate waxing the car, find more nicks everytime.

that's a brutal delivery time! hope they can expedite it for you!
not impressed with the tire damage but what am I going to do...guess just buy fresh ones when I wear these out in a couple months, lol....have done an oddly high number of tire repairs lately... no road hazard warranty for me since in Canada
Tirerack isn't listing PZero's in 315 size right now, hope its not discontinued...this whole 315 tire availability thing is complete BS
Your TT is looking bada$$ btw!

Front spacers on. Car still has a list of things I have to tend to, but at this point it's getting closer to DD status.

The bottom nuts on my right turbo hotside are semi-rounded off. So bumper and I/C have to come off for better access. Might be doing plugs & coils while I'm in there.

I feel your pain ( there's bound to be quicker way of getting stuff shipped with the network on this site? ) and I'm not sure if we get more or less bank holidays than the U.S.? However a bank holiday over here means just one thing......rain....

yeah the tire thing, now its wheel lack of availability!? i think you literally got the set just prior to me! thx bro for the compliments on the car, yours is equally menacing

..and thx james, i'm sure yours is terrific as well. really waiting to hear of your ultimate decision re coils/vs new struts. me, i'm still trying to source either NEW MO30's ( LOVE em lol ) or even an old stock x73 kit, but i suspect th-dude beat me to THAT one as well

cheers to you both

i know it's crazy. "bank holidays" are when they shut down and assess how they can hold together the lie that they HAVE any money LOL.
sorry to hear of your continuing MAF issues!? that one was odd, since once a new one is replaced, they can go on trouble free for years! I've had my new maf in now for at least 3/4? but good luck with it. "hot film maf sensor" codes suck, but at least it's a fix we ALL can undertake

Yeh, forgot to mention that the MAF was from Germany and I've not had a reply to email and I'm not going to get a reply until Tuesday at the earliest.

So I took my seat out to get to the phone control unit instead, see if I can figure out why it's stopped working?

I know what you mean.

The road debris in general here in the U.S. (and specifically in the greater Atlanta area) is terrible. Sand, small rocks, nuts, bolts, clumps of dirt, etc. make trying to take care of your paint a losing proposition. Additionally, vehicles that owners have put larger wheels/tires on without any mud flaps (specifically pickup trucks and Jeeps) serve as "rock throwers", as they pick rocks up and launch them high and far behind the vehicle. I can't seem to get away from these guys some days.

I used to travel quite a bit to Germany, and not only do they have outstanding road construction, the roads are essentially free of any kind of debris; very "car paint" friendly (and fantastic to drive on).

... i hear you. bank holiday delay to tell me when i can expect stuff I've already "paid for" that was "in stock" when ordered!~ argh!

but yes, stuff is beginning to give up the ghost as these age. as of friday eve my CD mag no longer recognizes whether or not there are any in the magazine and the cdr23 simply says either "NO CD" or "CDS" ? wtf that means...?! whatever,.. its due.

.... it just never ends, but then neither does the joy

The roads here are terrible between the pot holes and gravel on tar repairs its hard to not get nicked. I have mine covered in expel which helps. My older Audis seem to not get nicked as easily?
