I thought this was an effect of the manufacturing process of the tinted glass?

I think that pattern is from the tempered glass.

this... it has to do with the process of tempering the glass. it's common when you look in a parking lot on a sunny day as certain angles, it will show... you don't see it very often nowadays because most cars are tinted so it doesn't reflect the sunlight like with a unobstructed tempered glass.

Good news is that your rear window is probably ridiculously clean now! Car is beautiful, by the way.

Spent part of Sunday tackling replacing the 11 yr old billet dv’s with the latest 710p version and replacement of the n75 and other problematic bits as a preemptive service. Also managed to swap out the fuel filter while I was in there. Performed a boost test with markskis kit after I buttoned up and found a few slow leaks from the T connectors and some other plastic and rubber bits that were unexpected. Luckily I had picked up a nice assortment of Vacum connectors from Amazon that had everything I needed. Secured anything with new T’s / line where needed and zip ties or stainless hose clamps. Holding 20 lbs nicely and the fuel filter had around 60k on it And just having rolled 107k it felt like time. Next up is lower the engine and replace the harder to reach items with new units and Vacum lines for peace of mind. Car pulls like a freight train now throughout the rpm band ( thanks markski tuning ! ).

I grew up in Dover , NH. Daughter lives in Goffstown. Where do you pan to take the car for service ? I am trying to locate someone in either southern Maine or southern NH who has expertise with the water cooled 911's. Hope to run into you sometime at a club event or a drive.

Installed a new Unobtanium exhaust this weekend. It sounds amazing, highly recommended. I'm still waiting on the tips and will have some final adjustment before i take the car in the dyno tuning.
