I recall reading a stat a couple years ago that Vancouver is second only to LA with the number of Porsche's per capita - they are just swamped.

Really? Considering Champion in south FL is like the world's largest. + I think the climate is more fitting in a warm-all-year place. In NY there's like 3 dealers within a short drive from me too. I think you need more dealers.

We got a new one out in Langley a couple of years ago, but not super convenient to get too, but yes, if they are not taking bookings until July for anyone, that suggests they are overloaded and should either expand, or let loose another dealer.
All I want is to go down and program the new fob, probably 15 minutes, so I am just waiting to hear back when in July.

@docwyte out of curiosity why'd you get rid of your Soul Performance Exhaust? I'm considering one for my new to me '02 w/X50 pkg.
How was it for sound? I've seen your YouTube vids but they don't really let you hear it properly.

finally got around to doing this... was the simplest 3 minute mod i ever did... the most time spent was trying to find my box of fuses buried in the garage...
Summer arrived on Saturday with temps in the high 90's (~35*C for the non yanks), so i decided to take the kids out to my buddies house and upon pulling out of the garage i heard a huge crackkkkk from under the car. got the car out and saw a bunch of plastic hanging from under the car that must have caught on the scissor lift... i guess the car settled the last few weeks that it hadn't been driven... got it back home and pulled all the fender liners... driver side was in two pieces...
passenger side was mostly in tact, but then i noticed the wet spot... on the bottom corner... at first i thought maybe it was a coolant leak but it wasn't wet to the touch and didn't smell like coolant...
since i had the car up i went searching...
but then remembered that afternoon when i came home, the car was showing 100*F and the A/C wasn't working. when i first bought the car, PPI came back with the A/C not working... the P.O. got it recharged and it was working before i took delivery. last summer i ran some dye through the system and checked but couldn't find a leak. I'm assuming that through the winter it had more time to work itself through the system and present itself.
this is on the passenger fender liner
looking from the wheel well behind the front bumper
looking up from under the front bumper at the coolant line...
looking from the front of the bumper through the mesh grill i installed... the green patch in the bottom corner of the condenser...
i haven't had time to drop the bumper to confirm that it's only the condenser and not a line or o-ring.
now the question to the masses, driver side looks all good... do i just replace the passenger one, or because i will be opening the system and replacing the drier as well so do the driver side as well???

I knew my passenger side one was seeping a bit, I ordered a full set of replacements - when we took it apart, turned out the drivers was seeping a bit too.

I installed some semi solid motor mounts. I would like to thank Soul performance and Supreme power for getting me parts in a timely manner, They seem to be the only two businesses that have gotten me parts in a reasonable amount of time in the last year and a half.

I installed my K&N filters, fully restored 997 suspension cross member, next I will complete the Walbro fuel pump upgrade, then it will be Markski tuning time as she is back together, well almost 😀
