Both the 996 Turbo and the Lambo are (can be) expensive to maintain
expensive, i suppose relative to most other cars. but i would put italian cars in a whole different class vis a vis cost of ownership and maintenance compared to old porsches. by the way. what are you waiting for re a possible future lambo purchase - a more robust economy? lol
@mezgerman. i don't put porsche in that bitch to maintain category, but would all the others you mention. absent firsthand experience with them, that is.
Both the 996 Turbo and the Lambo are (can be) expensive to maintain, as is the case with my Mercedes CLK55 AMG.
If I was concerned with maintenance I'd just own my truck and my Honda.
A Lambo is on my future buy list.
It was more along the lines of i couldnt afford the maintenance of a used huracan. First gen gallardo, yes, huracan no way in hell do i wanna work that hard, nor do i want flex like that. At this point i need a truck... Powerstroke 250 sounds nice... But i could live with an sr5.
I put on a set of Dunlop Z3 295-30R18 on the rear suddenly my steering wheel off 5 degrees to the left. WTF happened? I got the alignment done but I guess it was too late to save the right rear.
While installing a backup camera for my new Kenwood double DIN head unit, made the mistake of letting the left rear seat belt retract all the way into the housing. Got an unscheduled opportunity to disassemble, study, then reassemble the seat belt unit, including rewinding the spring. I now know a lot more about that mechanism than I did yesterday, though I really wasn't looking for additional education at this time. Fortunately all's well that ends well.
Backup camera works great as does the Kenwood unit, especially with Android Auto integration. Torque Pro and screen mirroring next.
