[QUOTE=k9turbo;16613855][QUOTE=2fcknfst;16613714]Thought about driving it, realized it wasn't quite in the cards...

Yet.

you're hilarious. why, that's only a cpl hours tops, to get the car roadworthy. or 11 hours "book time" lol
As long as it runs without missing...

That looks really good, I very much like the way the intakes are formed - it is very clean.

Yes. The tires began to show wear but the technician said he could still align the car and showed me the print out that it was all in spec.
These Dunlop's too are used so I will see if he can check it again or wait till I can get new tires.

Changing tires can effect the alignment, sometimes severely. But usually not to the extent of changing the steering wheel centering. Are you sure all the wheels are tightened flush with the hubs?

And yes, wait for new tires before having the alignment redone.

Sounds good. I am surprised it was smoking as long as it was though.

New fuel pump and there is still one vacuum leak (it has been identified...) that seems to be causing a weird stumble and/or misfire...

what's sad is that i didn't even put my weight onto it... i'm trying to remove the O2 sensors with the exhaust off the car... i heated the bung and put the wrench on.. left hand held the exhaust down, right hand on the wrench and snap... the wrench sheared downwards but i had eye protection on... i give up trying to extract these sensors for the new exhaust... i just ordered new ones...
