Anyone have use for OEM 996TT intercoolers? 50k miles when removed, clean, no issues. Pressure tested to 25psi prior to removal, no leaks, no cracks in end tanks, no issues. I posted them in the classifieds for $100 but willing to give them away here if anyone needs them.

Took the Brey-Krause fire extinguisher mount off my drivers euro gt3 seat.
I'd transferred it from the passenger seat because I just run the drivers seat and thought it wouldn't be in my way.
The fire extinguisher was really in my way so I removed it but left the bracket as it wasn't in the way much and I didn't feel like removing the seat to take it off.
Well, getting into the car last week wearing sandals I nailed my heel in the plate and drew blood.
Ok, time to get off my butt and remove it. Much better!

When I had my interior out for the carpet swap, I put some Dynamat on the top section of the rear firewall right under the window, two 12x16 sheets on top of each other, with another half sheet on top of those. It made a significant difference in the interior noise of my car. That part of the firewall is like a big drum and adding some deadener to it helps a lot.
It's not the best picture of it, but you can see it up there if you zoom in a bit. You don't need to cover the area, you just need some mass in the center of the "drum." I added a little bit to the top of the plate that the ECU mounts to as well to prevent rattling.

It can be accomplished pretty easily with minimal tear down. Fold down the rear seat, pull up the carpet directly behind the seat that covers the rear suspension, and you can gently pull up the piece of carpet that covers the back. It's kind of hard to remove with the side panels in though, but it can be done. You don't necessarily need to remove it, just pry it up enough to get your hands in there.
