Its a 2015 e63s so 5.5l tt. its comfy, civil and luxurious, turn on the cheat codes tho and it can outrun a lot of other heavyweights from a dig. I dont play around too much in it as its for trips down to miami, **** driving manual in that sort of traffic pre corona days. I would take my tt down there but the exhaust would make my head explode.

Good call on the 5.5TT, E55/63 is a staple.

Took the rear wheels off to put in modified oem brake ducts thay have been sitting on my shelf for 2 years. Also fixed the hole my tires made with filler and 99c spray paint.

Does anyone oil their spoiler rams? Or am i crazy for oiling them every month or so?

i will admit to spraying a smidgen of silicone lube on the lower section of the stanchions during the worst heat of summer, but even more importantly taking the occasional q-tip to clear out any residue/dirt that may collect at the bottom of the stanchions above the resting ( though momentarily raised while parked ) spoiler. this coupled with bi-annual pentosin re-bleeds, has served me and my wings functionality well. so far.

dock's methodology - which requires no maintainence of the wing mechanism, now over 18 years ( +/- ) is to never have the wing actually activate.

i'm just kiddng.. he knows that(?) lol

i had a chance to run open and nearly deserted two lane ( 4 lane? lol ) blacktop w a 991 gt3 and we traded places many times for near 30 miles then we began to encounter traffic as we merged onto a main fwy from the state hi-way where we began. while i can say with honesty that we did exceed the max posted speed limit. i do feel we followed CA's "basic speed law". which requires one never drive "faster than it is safe" lol

i suppose that would depend on who saw us, and who one asked. what a blast. i won

I love the juxtaposition. I've never considered the 996 to be a particularly large car, but when you put it next to an air cooled it really highlights the size difference.
