I removed my original deck compartment (useless) and had a local shop make a custom box to fit these kicker subs. Not too light, not too strong. Works well for me. I have it removed right now due to prep for putting into the shop this week for conv top replacement.

sounds
sounds great. 5 channel jl amp, kickers and alpines in the doors and dash, kenwood head unit...its loud enough to blast ya with top down regardless of speed. Very happy with my setup.

A few Qs on the shallow Pioneer 8" setup:
1. Where is the amp located?
2. Can this be done for non-Bose setup?
3. Can this be added to OEM PCM system? or you must change all electronics?
Thanks

Were using the stock enclosure so as long as you have a stock enclosure we can modify it. if you ship me the factory i can probably do the mod with the woofer for around $545.00 with return shipping about A 24-48 Hour turnaround.
Yes we can add this to any audio system even bose
we give a 1 year warranty on the sub and the work
we can also include the JL amp with a bass know and install kit for 495.00 includes 4 awg wire kit and JL OEM interration Hi Low

Any chance I can somehow for my JL 13TW5-3 sub into my 996 Cabriolet? It cannot go in back anywhere, as I need the rear seats for my kids. So either the frunk or passenger footwell are my only options. I have a JL amp that I can put where the old CD changer was.
