Changed the transmission oil. Put in Liquid moly 75-90. Old looked pretty good. Mag plug had some fuz/pastey glup on it but no chips. Going to adjust/sync waste gates today.
Handed the key to the 996tt to my college son who just got home for the holidays so he could drive it to Cars n Coffee at the Kansas City Automotive Museum, then I left it in the garage and drove the 928S4 to PCA breakfast.
The son has been begging me to let him drive the 996tt. He promptly slept in til noon.
I've literally been having a physical reaction to being away from my car.

these are very really and genuine physiological responses to the self abnegation and denial whether intentional or not, of the adrenaline produced in us by "boost" or lack thereof. i think of it as "withdrawal" and you guys are both right. i have felt it also. it definitely has a physical component to it LOL
^ So true. I was without a 996 for 6 months over the spring and summer after I sold my '99 C4 aero coupe until I bought the 996tt. Even though I still had two other P-cars in the garage, I still had withdrawal symptoms.
Just got the car back from having the coolant lines pinned, upgraded the fuel system with UMW injectors, fuel pump, & RSS toe links. Decided to clean the underside which took two days. The wife wants to have a psychiatric evaluation completed. They just don't understand.
