Like my car big time. Got to take the back roads to town on Friday afternoon. Nothing super special, just a nice back road i know, gorgeous weather, sun going down, the sound of the exhaust, the mezger purring in back, Ahhhh. The old girl (99 C4) goes to the consignment lot down in the bay area on Tuesday. Hope she finds a good home.

Sounds like a great way to end the day.
You should put your '99 C4 up in the vehicle marketplace plus put a thread in the NA996 forum.

added UMW tune from Kevin this week, huge upgrade, all praise on this forum is well deserved. Car is an 04 six speed, I do several HPDE events a year as a PCA instructor and wonder if anyone has experience with transmission cooler for flashed 996tt.

Made a replacement part to fix my broken rear spoiler. It is the guide that is internal to the pump. Thanks to Steve Jarvis for the initial drawing he provided me. Now to install it and see if it works again!

Replaced the hydraulic accumulator for the clutch and bled the system. Works much better now...

That's interesting! A good picture of this drawing can be useful for some of us ;-) I just blow it up and it is not bad. Thanks a lot for these specifications. I remember in 2010 JJBravo had a pump failure and he found a different broken part: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...t-s-wrong.html

Hmm interesting regarding the other broken part. I guess I will find out soon enough when I crack the pump open.

The drawing is attached in PDF form. Use at your own risk, there is no guarantee of its accuracy. I have yet to verify it in my own system.

Did you use a 3d printer to do that? If so, what material?

Interesting, I bet mine is broken in a similar way. It's off the car when I power it up you can hear the motor run but nothing moves.

better figure out why it broke in the first place! It should never break, if everything is working correctly.

What external problems might cause that?

Bought a baby seat, managed to fit it in the back of the passenger side, and took my seven week old daughter for a short trip around town.

bad microswitch or wiring or ECU malfunction. The microswitches signal the ECU to cut power to either the extend or retract relay. If either or both malfunction, the motor keeps going till something breaks. In my case it melted plastic inside the motor. There is a thermal overload inside the motor can, mine got REALLY hot and partly melted the plastic brush holder. Potential cause for a fire in the engine bay?? For whatever reason, one side worked the other didn't. My wing was crooked during a long trip. That's when the eRam system idea was sparked.
