Made a small modification... ...please don't mind the dirt... I have been traveling due to work and have not had a chance to detail the car after the DE...

The new gas pedal should help whenever I participate in the next DE.

Nice and clean now...

Also received a few misc items... mostly preventive as Porsche has this tendency of increasing part prices once a few model updates/replacement are out...

A pair of the Chrome headlight washer nozzle (996 628 143 00/996 628 144 00)

Set of front brake pads (just wanted to keep a set handy)

Wiper blades

Everything needed for a major service (filters, etc.)

GT3/GT2 ducts

Coolant tank (just in case)

Gets rid of the ashtray and gives you a nice little storage cup (with rubber bottom mat).
Again, Eric sold me mine, painted Lapis Blue to match the OEM painted center console....absolute perfect match. Simple 5 minute install.
OEM non-smoker's kit in Seal Grey and key hole plug from Eric at www.bumperplugs.com - Update: Ordered!

Wachuko,

Just found this thread. Very nice mods! I'm glad to see that you have put the CPO to good use... which makes me glad that my 02 is also covered under warranty

Sure does. Sorry to say that mine expired August 25, 2008

Anyway...

I had also ordered the tray where the umbrella goes. Passenger side. Here is a photo of the old one. The material used for the finish seems to deteriorate with time... it looked awful! New one is now in place. Got it from Sunset Porsche...

and all the parts for the next service came in (plugs, filters, etc.). It still has many miles to go before the service, but just wanted to have those handy since I will be doing the work from now on...

I did the same remote mod for the 996TT as well....much nicer than the original IMHO.
Simple DIY, parts from Gert at Carnewal or Jeff at Sunset.

BTW, silver hood crest and non smoker's kit
