No big deal.
It takes less than a minute to install anyways.
Next time you place an order with Eric, he could always paint one up for you. He did for me (dead on match, as usual).

Hey Jaime, I noticed that you're a PCA member here in Orlando. We have a Challenge Rally that's coming up on November 5th to benefit the Russell Home for Children? Everyone is welcome to participate. The cost is $35 bucks if you registry by November 3rd...$45 the day of the Rally. The Audi Club of Florida is putting this on. We're going for a second year of having more Porsche's out number the Audi's. It's get family fun and is for a great cause. You can check it out on the Citrus site at http://www.pca.org/flc

I do have an alterer motive in that I would love to hear what straight cat's sound like on a TT. I have an 03 SG TT as well.

Hope to see you there,
Tim

Well... seems the car does not like the cold (yeah cold here in FL ) weather... as soon as the temperature when down the gremlins started to appear:

Look at the oil pressure needle:

And the spoiler seems to be working fine but this message keeps coming up:

Service appointment scheduled for next week...

I am hoping is something simple... like the microswitches for the spoiler and the oil sender unit for the problems with the guage and the error message...

Did you drive the car with a zero oil pressure indication?
I would have parked it immediately, just on the off chance it wasn't a sender/cluster malfunction.

I was driving… get the error message of Failure Indicator, oil gauge needle goes berserk and two seconds later it is all fine… So I figure I will continue to drive the car to work (I was almost there anyway). Thinking back, I should have park it at home until getting it check by the dealer… but nooooo, instead I have been using it all week.

I read a few post here on the problem and figured it was either wire contact problems or the sender...

Ok, back from dealer:

Spoiler issue:
Faults found 9150. Replaced spoiler motor/drive assembly - Part No. 996-512-241-02 (spoiler drive)

Failure Indicator error:
Sender not showing correct oil pressure at times
Faults found 9121 Replaced oil pressure sender - Part No. 996-606-203-01

Spoiler drive was a grey area in terms of warranty coverage... but covered under original warranty as a good will gesture.
Sender covered under CPO warranty

They stick to my shoes (any type of shoes) like glue.

On the down side, they do not look as hot as the original set I wanted to buy.

I suggest you pm Tom Kerr (tkerrmd) and get a photo of the ones he has. Those look awesome. Plus he takes his car to the track so grip should be good.

I hope that helps.

Cheers!
