Why wouldn’t a tip owner rebuild their engine?
If I had a tip, I’d rebuild my engine.
Tip owner doesn’t necessarily equal non-enthusiast.
Maybe some aren’t, just like some manual owners aren’t.

I prefer manual coupes, but that doesn’t mean a cabriolet with a tip is worthless.
I’d like a coupe with a tip if I could find one cheap enough.
My wife, who has bad knees, doesn’t like driving my car, but if I had another with a tip, I know she would love it.
I’m not giving up my manual coupe, but I’d spring for a tip, and rebuild the engine too.

I said unusual, not wrong. Anyway, doing the rebuild must’ve killed the dream (or wallet), which is why it’s on the block with just 500 miles post-rebuild. Car looks clean and has sport seats.

I would be all over that if it wasn't black!

if the engine was rebuilt properly (maybe a Porsche short block?) it would be a heckuva buy.

many six-digit miles have sold in the low to mid-thirties. This is one example. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-911-turbo-45/

It has The IMS Solution!
That looks like possibly a great deal.
By the serial number, I’d guess it was done in 2010-2011.

that’s a very early serial number on the Solution. It’s so low that there’s a great possibility that we did the work here at Flat 6.
