pretty sure the car in the vid is the same as the one for sale in the bat link. Front bumper is off and the shop employee mentions “that’s a 996 street car we gotta fix.” Was looking at that listing on Bat yesterday and wanted to know more about Kelly Moss and stumbled upon that vid.

They'll pull you off the track if your exhaust is measured above 90 db at a certain point of the track. Stupid, whiny people moving in near racetracks.

When they built a drag strip in my area it was way out in the country far away from everything. Now that the area is populated, problems with noise complaints are on the rise. I empathize with this problem because the 120+ db levels from a top fuel dragster travels a long distance and many of the competitions last all weekends throughout the summer months. Many of these people move into the area around spring and then the summer shocker hits them. There is no requirement to disclose this information at the point of sale. Buyer beware as they say.

I lived a mile from a drag strip and it never bothered me. Something calming about the noise honestly, probable because it was the middle of nowhere.

I forgot to mention, the pipes go sideways because they have the SPL measuring device on the right side of the track, so if you just direct your loud exhaust the other way, you generally can get away with it.
