Ed, sorry to see that, but don't feel bad. In my eyes, that is how my white Honda looks all the time, even when it is clean!

Talking

The good news: I finally installed my rollbar!

& the bad: I broke my windshield maneuvering the damn bar by myself!

The other good news: my cd changer had completely stopped working a couple months ago. Even when I pressed the button for the sleeve to come out it gave no response & I never got around to fixing it. Well for some reason when I connected my battery again after finishing my rollbar install, it was working again.

... The other bad news, I don't have the damn security code for the radio & it's locked.

today, I drug my son into the garage and made him flush the brakes on the P-car.

Its started with a bit of moaning and whining, but when he realized I was going to let him do most of the work he shut up and took note. I jacked the car (he has done that before so the thrill is gone) and pulled the wheels, loosened the bleeders....he pretty much did the bleeding himself... I ran the light and the rag (which wasnt needed much) - he put 4 of the lugnuts on each wheel (I got the first one on) and got them snug....I torqued (he weighs less than the torque setting )

he's 11

we test drove the car and after warming up, a trip thru the tunnel (both ways) I gave him a bit of a thrill ride which he asked about since he doesnt come to the track....he hasnt seen 6500+ rpm's and what they can do for the car all the way thru 3rd

brake bleed a success, I still have my cluck which I am downgrading to a vibration and am certain its rotors -
this car is like a boat and boat stands for Break Out Another Thousand

sometime last summer at a track day I had an heart attack when in a turn the starngest noise struck me...I stopped and searched the car high and low... it sounded like a bunck of metal items came loose somewhere and flew into another metal item...

scared the **** out of me...

after checkign and finding nothing I was able to repeat it?? then stopped and looked more...

WTF could it be?

Well what ever it was has been there and it stays quiet for weeks on end, then suddenly in a turn comes back. I have searched every nook and cranny looking for what became more and more the sound of a set of keys from under the passenger seat. Several failed searches with coat hangers and what not inside those little openings....

today, I tried again and here is what I found sliding inside one of those little holes under the seat - I am SOOOOO HAPPPY!!!!

dont know who's they are, but no one I know. Must have been the PO or maybe an instructor at the track ? I will post them as found at our regional chapter - damn things have been driving me crazy !!

OMG thats funny,

I had a friend put a rubber glove on the exhaust of my car (many years ago) - the thought it would blow up and pop, BOOM
it didn't... it melted....

the car had the worst rubber smell and I couldnt find it, got scared and sold the car really quick and cheap before it broke down...

When he asked where the car was I told him the story...

Yea, we laughed, and still do to this day!
