How can someone not be aware of the tires on their car. How long had he owned the car?

Drove down to the movies with my girl friend and we parked down central. When we parked it was still light outside, and when we came out of the cinema it was dark. I drove out of the parking lot, being a little bit too hulk hogan and didnt see how much of a slope I had to drive down from. I almost smashed the front to bits in the slope that the parking lot ended with.

I have had my 996 (-99) for a month, that wasnt very fun.
